Size Guide

Finding the perfect fit is the key to looking your best. At Kurta Hub, we use a Garment-Based Measurement System. This means our size chart shows the dimensions of the actual Kurta, not your body.

The Gold Rule: Measure Your Clothes, Not Your Body

For the most accurate fit, we recommend measuring a garment you already own that fits you well.

  1. Lay it flat: Place your favorite kurta or button-down shirt on a flat surface.
  2. Chest: Measure from underarm to underarm (seam-to-seam) and double the number.
  3. Shoulder: Measure across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
  4. Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem.

💡 Pro Tip for Comfort: For a traditional, comfortable fit, your Kurta chest should be 3–4 inches larger than your actual body chest measurement.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Handmade Craftsmanship: Our garments are individually crafted. Please allow for a small +/- 0.5" variation in measurements.
  • Fabric Care: Most of our Malai Cotton and Jacquard fabrics are pre-shrunk, but we always recommend a cold wash to maintain the exact fit.
  • Between Sizes? If you are between sizes, we always recommend sizing up for a more comfortable, regal look.
